Mercedes: Texas Street Festival
The Mercedes Chamber of Commerce and city of Mercedes are hosting the Texas Street Festival, Labor Day Weekend in downtown Mercedes. The festival will feature music, food, art and entertainment for the entire family. This is a FREE event.

McAllen: Jamaican Me Crazy

The McAllen Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will have their 1st Annual “Diez y Seis de Septiembre Fiesta” in the Oval Park area at the McAllen Convention Center. The Central Texas SPCA, a privately-funded, no-kill animal shelter serving the Greater Austin area, is hosting its 8th annual Barktoberfest festival and dog walk. The 34th annual Bayfest Arts Festival represents the best of outdoor festivals in Texas. It is held along the Corpus Christi downtown shoreline with an outstanding view of the bay. Bayfest offers a vast array of musical talent that appeals to a wide variety of audiences and is suitable for the entire family. Non profits feature foods anywhere from gorditas to funnel cakes.
